WHO WE ARE

JEREMY RAILTON – PRESIDENT AND LEAD DESIGNER

Born in Zimbabwe, Africa and educated in England, Jeremy has worked on projects in Italy, Monaco, Israel, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Korea, India, Japan and China.

Recognized by his peers for his bold and innovative designs, Jeremy’s eclectic talent embraces architectural projects, themed attractions, theatre, film, TV specials, live concerts, retail entertainment, and large-scale international events.

His designs for the AT&T Pavilion for the Global Olympic Village in Atlanta, the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, the GM pavilion Showroom Theatre at Epcot Center in Orlando and the Panasonic Pavilion at Universal Studios reflect his iconoclastic blend of art and cutting-edge technology.

Jeremy’s award winning designs for live events, concerts and television specials include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2002 Winter Olympics, the Academy Awards, the Emmy, MTV, and Video Music Awards as well as projects for Cher, Phil Collins, Alice Cooper, Jane’s Addiction, Neil Diamond, Fleetwood Mac and Barbra Streisand.

Jeremy is the recipient of four Emmy Awards from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and four THEA awards from the Themed Entertainment Association. He has received his guild’s highest honor, the Art Director’s Guild Award. He is also the recipient of the Lester Horton Award for Dance Design.

A pioneer in Digital Culture, Jeremy recently designed the overhead digital ‘visualization zone’ and media for The Place, a retail entertainment attraction in Beijing, China, that opened in June, 2006.

He is currently designing multiple attractions for an integrated resort in Sentosa, Singapore.


DAVID KELLY – EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

David Kelly’s academic career in the fine arts includes graduate degrees from Kent State University, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Cleveland Institute of Art where he also taught drawing and painting.

His fine-art skills have translated into a 25-year career as an art director that includes a long list of distinguished credits for the major networks, film and live events. He is best known for his production design of the MTV Movie Awards comedy vignettes and as the principal designer for the primetime 9/11 Concert.

His highly acclaimed art direction appeared throughout the eighties and nineties, in numerous primetime variety shows and sitcoms.

Since beginning his association in 1986 with Jeremy Railton, he has continued to design and coordinate large-scale international projects and oversee business affairs.

David is the owner-director of the San Clemente Dance and Performing Arts Center.


RICHARD WECHSLER – WRITER/PRODUCER

Richard Wechsler, an Academy Award-nominated producer for the classic, Five Easy Pieces, brings 25 years of experience writing, directing and producing films and television to our creative team.

He has lectured on screenwriting and narrative at the North Carolina School of the Arts, University of California, Santa Barbara, and the American Film Institute.

In 2000, Richard parleyed a life-long passion for close-up magic into his own company, Astonishment Technology, with the goal of merging magic and illusion with compelling story telling. In collaboration with Jeremy Railton, Richard’s innovative approach won an international competition to provide concept designs and master planning for a theme park and cultural complex in San Sebastian, Spain.

From that synergistic collaboration, Richard’s has continued to work with Jeremy Railton, producing and writing projects for live shows, retail entertainment facilities and large scale digital events.
